Cement mill

A cement mill is a grinding machine that used to grind hard, nodular clinker from cement kiln into fine powder that is cement. At present, most cement is ground in ball mills. As the rapid development of construction, more and more cement are required. A&C can provide large capacity cement mill for the customers to use in the cement making plant.

This cement ball mill is mainly used in grinding cement finished products and raw materials and also suited to metallurgical, chemical, electricity etc. and other industrial mining enterprises. It could also be used to grind various ore materials and materials that is grindability.

Working principles

The motor driving the main body rotating through reduces and the large gear. And there is grinding media-the steel ball in the main body. The steel ball will be lifted to a certain height by the centrifugal and friction force, and then falls down. The raw materials enter the main body through the feed opening and being ground by the moving balls. And then the ground materials will be discharged out of the mill.

Two Grinding Systems

Grinding systems are either 'open circuit' or 'closed circuit'. In an open circuit system, the feed rate of incoming clinker is adjusted to achieve the desired fineness of the product. In a closed circuit system, coarse particles are separated from the finer product and returned for further grinding.

Advantages Of Closed Circuit System

  • Reducing the over-grinding circumstance, improving the capacity about 10% to 30%;
